Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is in "critical but stable" condition after an accident while plowing snow Sunday morning in Nevada.

A spokesperson for the actor has confirmed the accident, saying it was "weather related" and that Renner's family is with him and he is "receiving excellent care." He was reported airlifted to a hospital.

Renner has owned a home in Washoe County, Nevada, which include Reno, where the accident reportedly occurred. The area was hit with heavy snowfall during a New Year's Eve storm, according to the Reno Gazette Journal.
