Supporters of Donald Trump are calling on Elon Musk, who reached a deal Monday to buy Twitter for $44 billion, to restore the 45th president's account.

Twitter permanently suspended Trump's account following the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, angering Trump supporters who said the move was a sign of Big Tech's left-wing bias and censorship of conservatives.

Musk, the world's richest man, has pledged to make Twitter a haven for free speech by not censoring content, leading Trump supporters to see him as the man to restore Trump's account.

However, Trump and people close to him have indicated he isn't interested in returning to Twitter even if its censorship policies are lifted and the platform embraces free speech.

The former president has worked to develop his own free-speech-based platform, Truth Social, which ended its beta-testing period on Friday.

Should Trump return to the platform he so famously used as president or stay on Truth Social and continue with his project there? Here's your chance to weigh in:
