President Joe Biden will head to his Delaware beach home on Friday after delivering a speech at Delaware State University.

Biden maintains a vacation home at Rehoboth Beach, Breitbart News noted. The weekend trip will be his 56th to Delaware since taking office. Reports emerged this week that Biden had, as of Sunday, spent 174 days in the state out of the 636 days of his official tenure.

Combined with his 64 days spent at Camp David, Biden has spent 37% of his time in office at either his Delaware homes or the presidential retreat.

Biden has spent some time on the campaign trail, stumping for Democratic Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman's senatorial bid and for Democrats in Colorado. He is, however, fast approaching his 80th birthday and recent gaffes have fueled further speculation that his age is catching up with him.

The president claimed in Colorado last week that his late son, Beau Biden, had died in Iraq, instead of dying of brain cancer in 2015. "Just imagine – and I mean this sincerely. I say this as a father of a man who won the Bronze Star, the Conspicuous Service Medal, and lost his life in Iraq," Biden said.

Earlier this year, Biden appeared at a food security event in which he searched for the late Republican Indiana Rep. Jackie Walorski, who had died in a car crash. "Jackie, are you here? Where's Jackie?" Biden said. He later apologized to the late Republican's family.

Reports emerged last week that first lady Jill Biden has raised concerns her husband is "overscheduled," the outlet noted. The president has also become visibly frustrated over questions as to his fewer event appearances in comparison with his recent predecessors.
