Trump calls on Fox to fire 'RINO' Paul Ryan after refusing to support him in 2024 election

“I wrote in a Republican the last time, I’m going to write in a Republican this time," Ryan says

Former President Donald Trump tore into former House Speaker Paul Ryan on Thursday for saying he won't vote for him in the 2024 presidential election.

"Rupert Murdoch should fire pathetic RINO Paul Ryan from the Board of Fox. Ryan is a loser, always has been, and always will be," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "He was the WEAKEST & MOST INCOMPETENT Speaker of the House in its History. Fox will sink to the absolute bottom of the pack if Paul Ryan has anything to do with it!"

Ryan, who serves on the Fox Corporation board, said this week he did not support Trump in the 2020 election and would not support Trump this time either.

“Character is too important to me,” Ryan said during an interview at the Milken Global Institute Conference. “And it’s a job that requires the kind of character that he just doesn’t have.”

He noted that he disagrees with President Biden's policies.

“I wrote in a Republican the last time, I’m going to write in a Republican this time," he said.
