The Pentagon on Friday released the fourth tranche of declassified UFO files, which includes a 2019 report that an unidentified object spotted by the military had flight characteristics witnesses had never seen before.

The 2019 Range Fouler report noted that a small object was caught on the camera of a surveillance plane and traveled at a great speed.

"Five U.S. military-affiliated personnel reported observing an object 'with flight characteristics unlike anything [the observer] had seen in 28 years [of service] for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy,'" the Pentagon wrote on its website. "The report characterizes the phenomenon as 'small' and 'traveling in a straight line opposite [the platform’s] direction at high speed.' The reporter added that, “others with equal or more experience were also unsure as to what the object might be.”

The latest drop consists of 40 new files, including 19 videos, and contains a mix of historic reports on UFO sightings and more recent reports, like one in 2020 that was described as a “floating brain” type Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena.

The drop also included debriefings from the Apollo 14 and Apollo 17 missions, and documents from 1949 that detail a conference regarding sightings of green fireballs near Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.

President Donald Trump first teased declassifying the files on UFOs in February and ordered War Secretary Pete Hegseth to declassify them in April. The first batch was released in May.

The documents and files can be viewed on WAR.GOV/UFO, and additional files will be released on a rolling basis.
