Gingrich to Trump: Good time to be 'rethinking and reappraising’ decision to run in 2024

Former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich breaks down last night’s election results across the country and gives his take on Trump’s suspected run in 2024. Gingrich says, Trump 'is a very, very smart man, and I'm sure that he is very disappointed. He worked very hard, he did a whole array of rallies of thousands of people. And I know, because I have the same feeling, I know that he went into election day thinking it was going to be a huge success and I suspect that he's going to do some kind of rethinking and reappraising, that I'm also going to, and we don't know where it's gonna come out, he is a very smart guy. And he's got to answer two questions. Can he in fact beat DeSantis? He probably would say, Yes. And then, coming out of that fight, would he ever be able to win a general election? Because I think I don't think he wants to run and have that kind of situation."
