UN Deputy Commander gives updates on diplomatic status with North Korea over US Private Travis King
In a meeting with the media in Seoul, South Korea on Monday, the Deputy Commander of the United Nations Command gave updates on the case of U.S. Private Travis King, who crossed the Demarcation Line from South Korea over to the North Korean side last week. Deputy Commander of the United Nations Command, General Andrew Harrison: "The first is, the primary concern for us, is Private King’s welfare. The conversation has commenced with the K.P.A. through the mechanisms of the armistice agreement."
