Liz Truss announces England will host a CPAC event in London this July
The gathering of British conservatives will run from July 16-18 and tickets for the conference are expected to go on sale next week.
Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss told an audience Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference's annual gathering in Texas that England will host a CPAC Great Britain event in London this summer.
The gathering of British conservatives will run from July 16-18 and tickets for the conference are expected to go on sale next week.
Truss claimed that Great Britain needs a "Trump-style revolution" because most people in the United Kingdom do not agree with the country's current government, according to the Mirror.
"They want to have a family, they want a nice car, they want to go on a nice holiday, they want to live in a Christian country," she said. "They don't want their country taken over."
British journalist Joseph Robertson also confirmed the event in a post on X, stating that he will be serving as a director of the upcoming conference, alongside a "brilliant team."
"Britain's broken," Robertson said. "The establishment surrendered our streets, sovereignty, & future. Time to rebuild."
Details on the venue and speakers for the conference were not immediately clear.
