Congressman Ralph Norman says House GOP is ready for impeachment inquiry: 'If not now, when?'
"This president promised to be the most upfront president and the most transparent president," Norman said. "He has been anything but that."
South Carolina GOP Rep. Ralph Norman says that House Republicans are ready to vote for an impeachment inquiry on President Joe Biden.
"I think we will vote for the inquiry," Norman said on the Wednesday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show. "I don't know what more people need ... now's the time. If not now, when?"
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has hinted before in recent statements that the House could launch an impeachment inquiry into President Biden as soon as the House reconvenes.
“The thing that holds up whether we'll do an impeachment inquiry: Provide us the documents we’re asking,” McCarthy said during a Fox Business interview. “The whole determination here is how the Bidens handle this.”
Many House leaders have requested materials to further their inquiries into the first family and the administration's alleged weaponization of the federal government.
"This president promised to be the most upfront president and the most transparent president," Norman said. "He has been anything but that."
Norman also praised House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) for his investigations into the president and his son.
"Since Republicans have taken over James Comer has done a great job of exposing – not hearsay, not innuendo, not anecdotal evidence – but direct evidence that links the leader of the free world, Joe Biden, and his son, Hunter, to a money laundering scheme," Norman said.
