Former Trump advisor and senior counsel for Rep. Devin Nunes, Kash Patel says that elected officials colluding with Big Tech for censorship purposes need to be held accountable and possibly face suspension.

"We need to be talking about suspensions, and a complete barring of these individuals from all committees and other such matters," Patel said on the John Solomon Reports podcast. "Since the Republicans have the majority in the House, they can do that with Adam Schiff."

When Schiff was chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, he released information regarding Devin Nunes's phone calls and information regarding reporters. New York GOP Rep. Elise Stefanik characterized Schiff's actions as being illegal and unethical.

In 2018, former California Rep. Nunes and Kash Patel put together a report detailing the Russia Collusion narrative, which was labeled on Twitter as a Russian bot operation. It was later revealed that Rep. Schiff, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Sen. Dick Blumenthal (D-Conn.) were pressuring the social media company to manipulate and censor the truth about the report.

"These oversight committees can subpoena Adam Schiff," Patel continued. "So that's a start. Go ahead and subpoena his phone calls, his emails and then make him testify before the American public."

Patel says that the American people need accountability and transparency from the officials involved in the censorship.

"He (Schiff) should never, ever be able to hold public office again, as he makes his decisions on the future," he stated. "The American public should have all that information."
