Kanye West stormed out of an interview on Monday when the host attempted to push back on his claims that Jewish people control the media.

West appeared alongside far-right activist and holocaust denier Nick Fuentes on Timcast after both drew headlines for attending a dinner with former President Donald Trump over Thanksgiving. Pool invited them to discuss West's planned 2024 presidential campaign.

West pointed to Jewish individuals advising both Democratic and Republican presidents, highlighting Jared Kushner and former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel in particular. He also lamented what he saw as the Jewish community's unwillingness to discuss the Holocaust openly before asserting that "they tried to lock me up," seemingly referring to American Jews.

"I think they've been extremely unfair to you," host Tim Pool told West as he described the media onslaught that followed the rapper's controversial posts on Twitter about Jewish individuals.

"Who is 'they' though?" West asked, implying that "they" was a reference to Jews. Pool asserted that he meant "corporate press," adding "I don't use the word as the way you guys do."

"It is them though," Fuentes interjected. "When you think about, consider it," he continued. As Pool responded "no" to Fuentes, West left the studio.

"You leaving?" Pool asked, to no reply from West. Fuentes also left. "You guys want to bring that stuff up? Not gonna have a conversation?" Pool challenged his departed guests.

Pool then derided West for making contentious remarks and then being unwilling to discuss his views openly. He then continued the discussion with his staff.

West attracted widespread scrutiny for online posts about the Jewish community, which earned him a temporary suspension from Twitter and prompted Adidas to end their professional relationship with the rap mogul.
