"TODAY" show co-anchor Savannah Guthrie and her siblings broke their silence Wednesday regarding reports of ransom notes related to the disappearance of their mother, urging Nancy Guthrie's possible kidnappers to release her.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office in Arizona confirmed Tuesday that it is aware of reports of ransom notes related to Nancy Guthrie's disappearance, shortly after TMZ reported that it received an unverified ransom note, which demanded a "substantial amount" of Bitcoin cryptocurrency for her return.

Savannah Guthrie confirmed in a post on Instagram that she and her brother Camron Guthrie and sister Annie have also heard about a possible ransom note and told the possible kidnapper that she and her family were "ready to talk."

"As a family, we are doing everything that we can," the host said. "We are ready to talk. However, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated. We need to know without a doubt that she's alive and that you have her. We want to hear from you and we are ready to listen. Please reach out to us."

Savannah Guthrie also emphasized her mother's heart condition, noting that she needs her medication in order to survive.

"Her health, her heart, is fragile. She lives in constant pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive. She needs it not to suffer," she added.

Annie Guthrie also urged her mother, who has been officially missing since Sunday, to return home even as officials are investigating Nancy Guthrie's disappearance as a crime.

The Pima County Sheriff's Office said its next press briefing in the case is scheduled for Thursday, at 1 p.m. Eastern.
