Stormy Daniels to do a sit-down interview with Piers Morgan following Trump indictment
Morgan said via social media that he cancelled his vacation specifically for this interview, while Daniels has had somewhat of a change of heart.
British journalist and broadcaster Piers Morgan announced Friday that he would be interviewing porn star Stormy Daniels in the wake of the recent Trump indictment.
"BREAKING NEWS: As Donald Trump becomes the first US President in history to be indicted on criminal charges, I've got the first world exclusive interview with the woman who sparked the scandal," Piers wrote on Twitter. "Tune into @PiersUncensored at 9pm for my live interview with Stormy Daniels."
The interview is set to air tonight.
Morgan said via social media that he canceled his vacation specifically for this interview.
"I was supposed to be on vacation now.. but something came up," he wrote. "In a few minutes, I'll be announcing yet another world exclusive interview that will air live tonight on @PiersUncensored at 9pm. The whole world will want to see this one."
Previously, Daniels said she would "dance down the street" if Trump was indicted on charges related to the hush money paid to her, according to USA Today.
But her longtime lawyer Clark Brewster said that since the indictment was announced, she has had somewhat of a change of heart.
"The fact is that she feels bad that the guy has been charged," he said, according to the outlet. "But on the other hand, truly, she knew what the facts were and she wants him to deal with the truth as well. So from that perspective, there's a degree of feeling like the system is working."
A Manhattan grand jury voted to indict former President Donald Trump this week over his alleged role in a payment to Stormy Daniels in 2016, making him the first former president to face criminal charges.
