President Trump has finally had enough of Tucker Carlson’s criticisms. 

“Tucker has lost his way,” Trump told ABC News’ Jonathan Karl on Thursday. “I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA. MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things. And Tucker is really not smart enough to understand that,” Karl posted on X.

Carlson recently called the attack on Iran “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

While the Republican Party and Trump administration have mostly been quiet about Carlson, he has sharply criticized the Trump administration on other issues as well, such as the Epstein files and the war in Ukraine. 

As the New York Post points out, “Carlson’s previous MAGA creds include meeting with Trump at the White House many times. He was also a primetime speaker at the Republican National Convention in 2024.”

While blasting Carlson, Trump called the Iran decision a success. He said people have been “loving it,” and that Iran has been “decimated for a 10-year period before they could build it back.”
