Russia hits Kyiv with missiles after Ukraine attack on Russian soil with U.S. missiles
The attack resulting in the heating being knocked out of 630 residential buildings and 16 medical facilities.
Kyiv was hit with a Russian ballistic missile attack early Friday morning, resulting in one death and nine injured.
Moscow officials have come out and said this attack was a response to a Ukraine attack on Russian soil that use weapons made in the United States.
Ukraine's air force said it intercepted short-range ballistic missiles that were headed towards Kyiv, according to Yahoo News.
“We ask citizens to immediately respond to reports of ballistic attack threats, because there is very little time to find shelter,” the air force said in a statement.
The attack resulted in the heating being knocked out of 630 residential buildings and 16 medical facilities.
Ukraine started using American-made missiles on Nov. 19 to fight Russia in the ongoing war that started in February of 2022.
