The total amount of campaign finance fines against Andrew Cuomo's campaign is around $1.3 million.
Tuberville announced his gubernatorial bid on Tuesday, ending weeks of speculation that he would not seek reelection in the Senate next year.
The announcement was first noted when Tuberville launched a website for his campaign, along with changing his handle on social media.
“It was a hard decision,” Tuberville said, according to the AP.
If they do move forward with the redo, members would vote for a new male vice chair from June 12-14 followed by a vote for a second vice chair of any gender from June 15-17.
The comments come as the Republican Party starts looking at who will lead it after Trump departs the Oval Office in four years. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are considered early contenders for the nomination.
The probe is looking into allegations that Cuomo intentionally lied to Congress about his role in drafting a New York State Health Department report on nursing home deaths caused by the pandemic.
According to the poll results, 46% of registered voters are ready to vote for Vance, 40.
