The Bud Light senior marketing executive who was in charge of the Dylan Mulvaney partnership is reportedly taking a leave of absence.

Bud Light's vice president of marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, will be replaced by Budweiser global marketing VP Todd Allen, according to the New York Post Friday, citing a report from AdAge.

It is not known if this replacement will be permanent.

This reported decision occurred not long after the brewing company got backlash for a partnership with controversial transgender TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney.

Heinerscheid also got pushback after being interviewed on the podcast "Make Yourself At Home," where she explained how in her role at Bud Light, she worked to change the brand from its "fratty" and "out of touch" humor to a beer company with more inclusivity.

Shortly after Bud Light's partnership with Mulvaney, Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light's parent company, had its value plummet by more than $5 billion.
