Indiana AG Rokita says some businesses are potentially starting to turn on DEI hiring practices
Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita said that it is a hypocritical practice to try to fix discriminating by discriminating.
Indiana Republican Attorney General Todd Rokita said Thursday that the pendulum is swinging when it comes to businesses using Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) hiring practices.
"The pendulum is starting to swing back in the workplace because ... these employers realize we have got to hire the best people of whatever color or whatever background they are," Rokita said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
He added that it is a hypocritical practice to try to fix discriminating by discriminating.
"There's people out there who want to try to fix the discrimination from yesteryear by continuing to discriminate today," he said.
Rokita has been one of the most vocal attorney generals against DEI.
Earlier this year, he launched a website for parents to track schools' DEI practices, according to The Daily Signal.
