Protesters calling for a ceasefire amid the Israel-Hamas war in the Middle East shut down part of San Francisco's Bay Bridge on Thursday.
The protest started at about 7:45 a.m. and at least 80 protesters were arrested after abandoning cars, according to local reports.
Protesters could be seen laying down on the bridge and had sheets that read "Stop the genocide."
Many were also calling for no military aid to Israel.
California Highway Patrol said that due to the participants spread throughout traffic, it was hard to clear the scene.
