Washington Commanders employee fired following video of derogatory remarks
Enteen referred to Commanders fans as “mouth-breathers" and “high-school-educated alcoholics."
The Washington Commanders fired its vice president of content after a video surfaced of him calling the fans and players derogatory terms.
Former vice president of content Rael Enteen was caught on camera via hidden camera by O’Keefe Media calling some of the players on the team dumb and homophobic.
Enteen also referred to Commanders fans as “mouth-breathers" and “high-school-educated alcoholics," according to NBC Sports.
The team announced Wednesday that the employee had been suspended and an investigation was taking place. Enteen was fired one day after being suspended.
“The language used in the video runs counter to our values at the Commanders organization. We have suspended the employee pending an internal investigation and will reserve further comment at this time,” the team said in a statement.
Enteen has reportedly worked for the football team since 2020. In the past, he had worked for the New York Jets.
