Another ActBlue board member reportedly invoked their Fifth Amendment rights on Tuesday to not incriminate themselves while testifying during a House probe into alleged foreign donations to ActBlue.

The testimony was in front of the House Administration Committee, House Oversight Committee and House Judiciary Committee, and comes after ActBlue co-founder Matt DeBergalis invoked the Fifth Amendment last month and ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace-Jones invoked the Fifth Amendment multiple times during a House Administration Committee hearing in June.

ActBlue board member Kimberly Peeler-Allen invoked the Fifth Amendment as lawmakers probed her in their investigation into how the company vets foreign donations and whether it weakened its fraud protections during the 2024 election.

A report released by the committees last year claimed the company's staff and executives "are aware that both foreign and domestic fraudulent actors are exploiting the platform but do not take the threat seriously."

House Administration Committee Chairman Bryan Steil, R-Wis., told Fox News that he's been frustrated with the company's lack of cooperation with the investigation.

"We've had individuals come, in public testimony, and plead the Fifth," Steil said. "They have a right to do that. And I understand why they did that. But I think the American people deserve to know exactly what's going on. 

"We have an entity here with ActBlue, that has raised roughly $20 billion since its creation and moved that into Democratic campaigns and Democratic causes," he continued. "We want to make sure that they have the fraud preventions. We want to make sure that they have the fraud prevention protocols in place to make sure that foreign funds are not coming into U.S. elections."
