GOP Rep. Biggs suggests evidence sufficient to subpoena Joe Biden's bank records
"We have to get to the bottom of it, and that's where you got to find it," Biggs said.
Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., indicated Wednesday that there exists enough evidence to subpoena President Joe Biden's bank and financial records.
"I think so," Biggs said on the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show when asked if one could justify such a move based on the evidence. "I don't know if anybody else agrees with me, but I think you do. We have to get to the bottom of it, and that's where you got to find it."
In December, Just the News reported that Congress has assembled a growing body of evidence that Hunter Biden’s dealings with a Chinese energy company began in 2015 and may have involved a meeting with then-Vice President Biden, before he left office in early 2017.
Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner of Hunter Biden and key witness to the Biden family attempts to court CEFC China Energy, turned over text messages to the FBI centering on this early relationship. The messages showed that Hunter Biden and his associates were exploring the relationship as early as late 2015.
Ahead of his anticipated testimony, Biggs predicted that Bobulinski would provide key information for the House's impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
"He has a lot of information to give," Biggs said. "I think he's going to – in my review of all the things that he has said, there is some stuff that is pretty obviously damning and is actually substantiated by everyone from Devon Archer [to] Rob Walker."
