The Democrat-controlled House committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot on Monday issued six additional subpoenas including several to senior Trump campaign and administration officials, according to several news outlets.

Former campaign manager Bill Stepien and spokesman Jason Miller were among those issued subpoenas, reports ABC News.

Conservative attorney John Eastman was also subpoenaed, for records and documents. He attempted to make a constitutional argument for overturning the 2020 presidential results and allegedly tried to get then-Vice President Mike Pence to overturn the election results on Jan. 6. when he presided over their congressional certification.

Also among those subpoenaed was former Trump national security adviser Michael Flynn.

The committee has asked all six individuals to turn over records by Nov. 23 and appear for depositions between Dec. 3 and Dec. 13, also according to ABC News

Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik confirmed to Just the News that he was among those who were subpoenaed. As a result, Kerik gave the following statement relating to the subpoena.

"After the November 2020 election, there were apparent irregularities and indications of potential fraud in multiple states.

"I was brought in by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani, President Donald Trump’s personal attorney to help investigate these claims and determine what, if any, fraud or irregularities had occurred and whether those issues may have impacted the outcome of the election.

"I was not hired to overturn the will of the people, only to look into the integrity of the process and ensure that the results accurately reflected the will of the people.

"Although we had compiled what we considered overwhelming evidence of irregularities in multiple state jurisdictions, to my knowledge those irregularities were never reviewed and investigated by state or federal authorities, and our efforts unfortunately ended just days before the inauguration.

"As to the events of January 6th, I was not involved, as my focus was on looking for evidence, not public relations.

"This afternoon, my attorney accepted a subpoena on my behalf from the January 6th Committee.  Based on the documents they were seeking, I was hopeful that we would be able to present the evidence that we obtained about voting irregularities so that government officials could follow up and ensure that the 2024 election doesn’t suffer from similar questions of integrity.

"However, I quickly learned that before sending my attorney the subpoena, the committee had issued a press release falsely claiming that I was 'involved in efforts to promote false claims of election fraud' and working to 'promote baseless litigation.'

"Not one member of this committee, including Ms. Liz Cheney, who has publicly claimed there were no voter irregularities in 2020 has ever spoken to me, or asked to review any of the evidence that we collected.

"Election integrity should not be a partisan issue.  The Committee’s choice to publicly defame me and try to undermine my information before they even have the opportunity to review it perfectly demonstrates why the American people do not trust our political institutions and the career politicians who run them.

"I am demanding that the Committee either retract this defamatory press release and apologize or admit that this is purely a partisan stunt and that they aren’t truly looking for the truth.

"I believed then, and more so today, that there was overwhelming evidence of irregularities and election and voter fraud in the 2020 election, and I will not be threatened, intimidated, forced into bankruptcy or silenced, at the hands of this committee who are not looking for truth, but targeting patriots and members of the President’s legal team that wanted nothing more than to investigate and expose those irregularities.

"I will work through my attorney Timothy Palatore, to ensure that the facts and evidence we collected  are produced within the guidelines of the law, in the hopes that the American people will demand accountability in our election process, and demand that our elected officials stop weaponizing our political system for their own political gain."
