Twitter CEO Elon Musk on Tuesday says some members of the special House committee's investigation into the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol were "deeply wrong, legally and morally" during their probe.

"Besides misleading the public, they withheld evidence for partisan political reasons that sent people to prison for far more serious crimes than they committed," Musk tweeted. "That is deeply wrong, legally and morally."

His post was in response to State Freedom Caucus Network communications director Greg Price, who tweeted that Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff and former GOP Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger, who were on the committee, "are liars" for claims made after the riot.
