Florida GOP Rep. Randy Fine delivered a blistering response Thursday to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries' list of demands to fund the Department of Homeland Security.

The pair of Democratic leaders dropped their list of 10 demands late Wednesday, which include requirements that federal immigration officers provide identification, forbid them from wearing face masks on duty as a means to hide their identities, and standardize uniforms to make federal officers more noticeable from civilians.

Fine commented on the hypocrisy of Democrats wanting federal agents to show identification but not voters on election day.

"They want ICE to be able to show IDs," Fine said on the "Just The News, No Noise" TV show. "I presume that means they want voters to be able to show IDs when they go vote. They say they don't want people to wear masks anymore? Well, I would assume that includes the Muslim terrorist protesters that we see all over our country who hide their faces.

"I mean, they want everyone to be able to identify themselves? I assume that means the protesters should have to say who's paying them when they're out protesting," he continued. "Look, Democrats aren't smart. If they were, they wouldn't be Democrats. And so these demands are ridiculous, particularly when you look at the logical fallacy that they only want to apply them in certain situations."

The congressman also claimed that Democrats want "no enforcement of immigration laws," because they cannot win elections without votes from illegal migrants.

"The goal is to stop deportation," he insisted. "The idea is, you make a set of demands that are so outrageous and so egregious it's impossible to comply with them. Their goal is not to improve the deportation of criminal legal immigrants. Their goal is to stop all deportations for three reasons.

"Number one, they can't win elections without illegals voting. Number two, they'll lose so many seats in Congress because Americans are leaving these blue states because they're sick of the craziness, and they're moving to places like Florida and number three, they need the grift from all the welfare scams that these illegal immigrants are involved in to fund all the other nefarious activities they're involved in.

"They don't want better enforcement of immigration laws. They want no enforcement of immigration laws," he added.

Other demands include federal immigration officers wearing bodycams to record interactions with the public, and forbidding federal agents from conducting stops at certain "protected" locations like schools and courts. The full list can be viewed here.
