Hunter Biden makes surprise appearance at contempt hearing, leaves when Marjorie Taylor Greene talks
The House Oversight Committee is reviewing a resolution to hold Hunter Biden in contempt.
Hunter Biden made a surprise appearance Wednesday on Capitol Hill as he appeared in the House Oversight Committee hearing about a resolution recommending Congress to hold the first son in contempt.
However, before Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene could even thank the chairman for handing the time over to her to speak, Hunter Biden left his seat and walked out, video of the hearing shows.
"Excuse me, Hunter, apparently you're afraid of my words," Greene said as Hunter walked out.
The House Oversight and Judiciary Committees on Wednesday started marking up a resolution to hold Hunter Biden in contempt after he did not comply with their subpoena for a closed-door meeting about his family's business dealings.
