Ex-Hunter Biden biz partner Devon Archer ignores questions when arriving on Capitol Hill to testify
Archer smiled as reporters asked him questions as he walked into a House office building.
Devon Archer, Hunter Biden's former business partner and longtime friend, ignored questions from the press Monday as he entered a House Oversight Committee hearing, where he is expected to testify about President Joe Biden's involvement in his son's business deals.
Archer, who previously served on the board of Burisma Holdings with Hunter Biden, smiled as reporters asked him questions as he walked into the O'Neill House Office Building on Capitol Hill before giving his closed-door testimony.
Archer canceled at least three previously planned depositions before citing personal reasons, according to Fox News.
The hearing comes as Republican lawmakers expressed outrage after the Justice Department on Saturday requested the court to schedule a date for Archer to report to prison. He was sentenced in February 2022 to more than a year behind bars for defrauding a Native American tribe.
