Israel's security cabinet on Thursday voted to accept a ceasefire, a move that comes as the country has been locked in regional conflict.

Sources present at the meeting said that the Israeli Defense Forces will stop airstrikes against Gaza right away, according to the Jerusalem Post. The source said that if Hamas resumes shooting rockets toward Israel the IDF will resume operational activities and the ceasefire will be immediately canceled, N12 reported, according to the outlet.
