House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan issued a subpoena Friday for a Virginia prosecutor who has been accused of ignoring threats that were made against White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller.

Jordan opened the probe into Arlington County and the City of Falls Church prosecutor Parisa Dehghani-Tafti last year, which focuses on her handling of a doxing and intimidation case that was brought against left-wing activist Barbara Wien.

Wien has been accused of potentially violating state and federal anti-doxing laws by posting flyers in Arlington, Virginia, that depicted Miller's face and address. She has also been accused of attempting to intimidate Miller's wife at their Virginia home.

Jordan's subpoena Friday seeks documents and information from the prosecutor regarding her office's response to the threats and doxing incidents. Dehghani-Tafti has been accused of "stymying the investigation" after she allegedly sided with Wien's defense team's request that the judge overseeing the case limit the information state police could share with the FBI.

"The Miller family's safety is especially important in light of recent left-wing political violence against prominent Republicans, and the election of an attorney general in Virginia who has fantasized about murdering the children of his political opponents," Jordan's office said in a press release. "The Committee is conducting oversight to determine whether changes are necessary to federal law to better protect federal officials from harassment and threats."

Jordan requested Dehghani-Tafti's office produce the documents by April 7, 2026.
