Lindsey Graham says Iran negotiations have 'hit a wall,' calls for strikes on energy infrastructure
Graham said that Trump should look at reducing Iran's military capability and initiate more strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said on Sunday that negotiations with Iran aren't going to produce results and that President Donald Trump should make good on threats to bomb Iranian energy infrastructure.
“I think we’ve hit a wall on dealmaking,” Graham said on NBC'S "Meet the Press."
Graham said that Trump should look at reducing Iran's military capability and initiate more strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure. This, he said, would force Iran to be more willing to accept a deal.
“The energy infrastructure is their soft underbelly. If you go back to the fight, I’d put energy on top of the list,” Graham said.
