Texas Rep. Babin throws support behind behind McCarthy's suggestion of Biden impeachment inquiry
Texas Rep. Babin said to "bring it on" when it comes to the potential impeachment of President Joe Biden.
Texas GOP Rep. Brian Babin says he welcomes House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's recent statement that the Congressional investigation into the Biden family will rise to an impeachment inquiry.
"I welcome the words, and the announcement of our Speaker McCarthy and that this is rising to a level where an impeachment inquiry is going to be justified," Babin said on the John Solomon Reports podcast. "I think the American people deserve to hear the truth, and they're getting just glimpses of it."
McCarthy said Monday during a Fox News interview that Biden lied when he claimed he never received money from China, even though multiple payments were made by foreign nationals to his family, as well as to shell companies while he was vice president.
"I believe we will follow this all the way to the end, and this is going to rise from an impeachment inquiry the way the Constitution tells us we have to do this, and we have to get the answers to these questions," McCarthy said during the interview.
Babin said to "bring it on" when it comes to the potential impeachment of President Joe Biden.
"Let's expose this for what I think it really is," he said. "And that is: probably one of the largest corruption and scandalous incidents – and really not an incident, it's a whole batch of years during his presidency – of corruption. So let's bring it on."
