The House Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education Committee is holding a hearing Wednesday titled, "Confronting Pervasive Antisemitism in K-12 Schools."

The hearing features New York City Public Schools Chancellor David Banks, Montgomery County Board of Education President Karla Silvestre of Maryland, Berkeley Unified School District Enikia Ford Morthel of California and American Civil Liberties Union Attorney Emerson Sykes.

"This pervasive and extreme antisemitism in K-12 schools is not only alarming—it is absolutely unacceptable," Subcommittee Chair Aaron Bean, R-Fla., said before the meeting.
