DOJ charges claimed Biden corruption witness for allegedly acting as an unregistered Chinese agent

The Department of Justice on Monday announced charges against a man who claims to have provided the FBI with evidence that the Biden family took payments from individuals linked to the Chinese military.

Dr. Gal Luft, an Israeli-American dual citizen is currently a fugitive. He was arrested in Cyprus in February but disappeared after securing release on bail before he could be extradited to the U.S. Last week, he came forward in a video obtained by the New York Post saying he had provided the bureau with such evidence and that his arrest in Cyprus was an effort to stop his testimony before the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating alleged Biden family malfeasance.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, meanwhile, claims Luft evaded Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) registration and also charges him with arms trafficking, violating sanctions on Iran, and making false statements to federal agents.

The office made no reference to Luft's allegations.

Luft allegedly lobbied an unnamed advisor to then-President-Elect Donald Trump to embrace pro-China policies without registering as an agent of Beijing. The indictment also identifies alleged schemes Brazilian oil, Libyan munitions, and an array of other activities. He maintains his innocence.

In the video, he accused the DOJ of orchestrating a cover up of the allegations against the Bidens and insisted he had no political agenda.

"I, who volunteered to inform the US government about a potential security breach and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people who I informed — and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life on the run," he said. "I'm not a Republican. I’m not a Democrat. I have no political motive or agenda... I did it out of deep concern that if the Bidens were to come to power, the country would be facing the same traumatic Russia collusion scandal — only this time with China. Sadly, because of the DOJ’s cover-up, this is exactly what happened."

Luft is not in U.S. custody and his whereabouts remain unknown as of press time.
