Fulton County prosecutor's divorce lawyer recalls only one discussion about Wade-Willis relationship
“I don’t recall having any other conversation with Mr. Wade about him and Ms. Willis,” Bradley said.
Terrence Bradley, former law partner and divorce attorney of Nathan Wade, the lead Georgia prosecutor in the case against former President Donald Trump, on Tuesday said he recalled only one conversation with Wade about his romantic relationship with Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
“You’re testifying under oath that you had one conversation about a relationship between Mr. Wade and Miss Willis?” Trump attorney Steve Sadow questioned attorney Terrence Bradley.
“I don’t recall having any other conversation with Mr. Wade about him and Ms. Willis,” Bradley answered.
“Is it your testimony then, that you don’t remember any other conversation or there wasn’t any other conversation besides the one?” Sadow pressed him.
Bradley answered by saying he thought it was "just the one."
Willis last year indicted Trump, now a 2024 GOP presidential candidate, and 18 co-defendants over their efforts to challenge the 2020 election results in Georgia.
Willis and Wade's undisclosed relationship and their apparent co-mingling of money has raised ethical concerns – so much so that a judge is now deciding on a legal effort to have Willis removed from the Trump case.
Judge Scott McAfee, who is presiding over the hearing, earlier this month suggested Willis could be removed, saying the allegations against her "could result in a disqualification."
