Supreme Court appears likely to reject effort to limit White House, social media communications

The Supreme Court on Monday seems likely to reject a Republican-led effort to limit federal government communications with social media platforms.

The analysis is based on an interpretation of oral arguments before the high court by The Washington Post. 

The specific areas of communication in question include elections, public health and national security.

The Post reports that questions from conservative- and liberal-leaning justices on the nine-member bench suggested the high court is likely to reject the GOP led argument.
