An alleged participant in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Riot turned himself in on Friday following a weeklong manhunt.

The U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia issued a warrant for Gregory Yetman's arrest on Monday, The Hill reported. He faces charges of obstruction of law enforcement during civil disorder and entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds. Authorities confirmed the hunt for Yetman on Wednesday.

FBI public affairs specialist Amy Thoreson confirmed the development, saying "Yetman turned himself into Monroe Township Police this morning, without incident. We want to thank the public for all the tips and calls we received."

The Department of Justice has brought hundreds of cases against the participants in disturbances, including more than 300 on myriad obstruction charges. Among the most high profile of cases thus far, were those of the members of the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers groups.

Group leader Enrique Tarrio received a 22-year prison sentence in September of this year, which the DOJ has since appealed. Earlier this year, Oath Keepers founder Stewart Rhodes was sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Both were convicted of seditious conspiracy.
