Bondi says 2 more people arrested in connection with Minnesota church protest
"If you riot in a place of worship, we WILL find you," Attorney General Pam Bondi said
Attorney General Pam Bondi said Monday that two more people were arrested in connection with a protest at a Minnesota church last month.
"If you riot in a place of worship, we WILL find you," Bondi posted on X. "We have made two more arrests in connection with the coordinated attack on Cities Church in St. Paul, Minnesota: Ian Davis Austin and Jerome Deangelo Richardson."
Protesters disrupted a Sunday service on Jan. 18 at the Cities Church in St. Paul, where a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official serves as a pastor.
The two arrests are in addition to the arrests of former CNN host Don Lemon and independent Minnesota journalist Georgia Fort, who were also at the protest. They both said they were covering the protest as independent journalists. Lemon was released from custody without bail on Friday after he was charged with conspiracy and interfering with the First Amendment rights of worshipers.
