The Pentagon on Tuesday announced that Secretary of State Antony Blinken approved the possible sale of fighter jets, and other weapons and equipment to Israel, which would collectively be worth over $20 billion.
The United States has been a big supporter of Israel in its war with Hamas, and the deal comes as the U.S. pushes for a ceasefire agreement between the two sides. The ceasefire would include the release of certain hostages and prisoners.
