Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) latest roundup of illegal aliens brought in more than a dozen with serious criminal convictions over the weekend, including individuals convicted of child sexual abuse and murder.

Under President Donald Trump, ICE and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have worked to enact mass deportations of as many as 22 million illegal aliens, with a particular focus on those with criminal convictions. As of January, ICE reported as many as 3 million departures through either physical removal or self-deportation.

Over the weekend alone, ICE brought in more than a dozen aliens whose convictions earned them spots in the DHS's "worst of the worst" highlights.

“While Americans celebrated Mother’s Day, the NICE men and women of ICE risked their lives to arrest and remove criminal illegal aliens from American communities,” Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said in a statement. “This weekend, ICE arrested a murderer, pedophiles, violent assailants, and a kidnapper. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, we are protecting American families by removing the worst of the worst from our neighborhoods before they can victimize another innocent American.”  

Topping the list this week was Miguel Solis-Martinez of Honduras, who was convicted for capital murder.

Wenceslao O. Panameno of El Salvador was convicted for a sex offense against a child-fondling, rape; strongarm, fraud-impersonating; and faces a pending case for alleged sexual assault.

Jorge Alberto Ramos-Coreas of El Salvado was convicted of lewd acts with a minor child under 14 years of age.

Fredis Antonio Gonzales-Recinos of El Salvador was convicted of sexual abuse in the 1st degree, contact with a victim less than 13 while the defendant was 21 or older.

Ricardo Crespo-Ruiz of Mexico was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and burglary.

Vicente Margarito Lopez-Sixto of Mexico was convicted for purchasing sex with a minor, sexual abuse in the first degree, and stalking.

Magdaleno Roman Rosales of Mexico was convicted of kidnapping.

Gilberto Nehemias Pena-Martinez of Mexico was convicted for assault wit a deadly weapon and illegal reentry.

Juan Carlos Javier-Garces of Mexico was convicted of assault and domestic violence.

Antonio Efrain Morales-Diego of Guatemala was convicted for strangulation: wound/injury.

Jose Medina-Silva of Ecuador was convicted for assault on a family member - injury.

Olvin Alejandro Vasquez-Orellana of Honduras was convicted for assault on a family member - injury.

Leonel Hernandez Medina of Mexico was convicted for simple assault and drug possession.

Juan Gonzalez-Paz of Cuba was convicted for grand theft and burglary tools.

Axel Nunez-Munoz of Mexico was convicted for vehicle theft and possession of a controlled substance.
