Musk continues charge against illegal immigration by urging prosecution of NGO facilitators
"The long-term goal of the so-called 'Border Security' bill is enabling illegals to vote!" Musk also said.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk on Monday continued his charge against illegal immigration by calling for nongovernmental organization personnel to be criminally charged if they purposely break the law to facilitate illegal border crossings.
"NGO personnel who deliberately and repeatedly broke the law to facilitate illegal immigration should face prosecution immediately!" Musk wrote Monday on his platform X, formerly Twitter.
Musk's post came in response to a picture of an excerpt from the Senate border security bill, which stated that $2.3 billion would be allocated to "qualified organizations, including nonprofit entities" for "refugee and entrant assistance activities," including housing, medical and legal assistance.
Musk heavily criticized the border bill in multiple posts Monday.
"The long-term goal of the so-called 'Border Security' bill is enabling illegals to vote!" he wrote on X early Monday morning. "It will do the total opposite of securing the border."
His criticism of the illegal immigration crisis began before the Senate released its border security bill Sunday.
Musk has been particularly vocal recently in calling for a crackdown on illegal immigration. On Friday, he said that the Biden administration is encouraging illegal immigration to "create a permanent majority."
