Protesters shut down LA freeway demanding Gaza ceasefire

Protesters on Wednesday shut down a Los Angeles freeway demanding a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, where Israel has staged an invasion in response to the Oct. 7 Hamas raid.
Images and video footage showed dozens of protesters sitting on the road and blocking vehicles. The demonstration occurred on the 110 Freeway beginning around 9 a.m., NBC Los Angeles reported.
The California Highway Patrol indicated that the protest saw 75 individuals arrested.
