Biden tests positive for COVID again as 'rebound' infection continues
President is reportedly doing fine.
President Joe Biden on Wednesday tested positive for COVID again, the fourth time in as many days that the president has returned a positive diagnosis for the virus that he had appeared to have beaten last week.
A memo from White House Physician Kevin O'Connor on Wednesday said Biden's COVID test results "remained positive" on Wednesday morning and that he will "continue his strict isolation measures."
“The president continues to feel well,” O’Connor’s memo said. “He is still experiencing an occasional cough, but less frequently than yesterday.”
The president “remains fever-free and in good spirits,” O’Connor added.
The president last week announced that he had re-tested positive for the virus, becoming one of the small number of individuals who register what physicians call a "rebound" infection of the disease.
