DeSantis calls out Biden admin. for 'inappropriate' transgender behavior at White House event
DeSantis noted that if even the White House had to acknowledge the inappropriate behavior, it was bad.
Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis called out the Biden administration for hosting a "totally inappropriate" Pride Month event at the White House where activists took their tops off.
"I think when you have the inappropriate conduct at the White House with these transgenders flashing people nude and all this stuff, it’s just totally, totally inappropriate,” DeSantis said during a press conference.
“And I think even the White House had to acknowledge it was inappropriate, but I would ask them, if it is inappropriate to do that at the White House, which I certainly think it is, why do you want to have that curriculum jammed into a second grader’s classroom? That’s what you’re always talking about," he continued.
Transgender activist and model Rose Montoya earlier this week posted a video with clips from the White House Pride event over the weekend.
Several seconds of the video featured Montoya, a biological male, posing with two transgender males, who were born female but had their breasts removed. Two of the activists, including Montoya, shook their chests while the other held a muscular pose.
The White House later condemned this behavior.
"This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House. It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance. Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events," a spokesperson said in a statement, according to Fox News.
