Several emergency vehicles arrived at the White House on Friday in response to a "suspicious item," the Secret Service confirmed.

Multiple entrances to the White House have been closed off amid the investigation, according to ABC News reporter Selina Wang.

President Joe Biden is currently in Delaware for the weekend while Vice President Kamala Harris is in Arizona.

The incident comes on the same that former President Donald Trump had to ground his plane in Billings, Montana, due to a mechanical issue. He has since departed on another plane to Bozeman, Montana, for a speech.
