Former Vice President Mike Pence has undergone successful pacemaker surgery after experiencing symptoms associated with a slow heart rate, his office said Thursday.
Pence has been diagnosed with asymptomatic left bundle branch block. He experienced symptoms in the last two weeks associated with a slow heart rate and had the successful surgery Wednesday at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus in Falls Church, Va., according to The Hill newspaper.
