Child slips through gate of the White House
Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi said that the officers reunited the child to his parents with no problems.
A toddler got through the White House gate on Wednesday, the Secret Service announced.
"Just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, U.S. Secret Service Uniformed Division officers observed a child slip through the White House north fence," Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi wrote on the social media platform, X.
Guglielmi said that the officers reunited the child to his parents with no problems.
The child was wearing a blue coat and red shoes as he was seen being carried back by Secret Service agents.
In April of 2023, another toddler got through fencing near the White House where he had to be retrieved by the Secret Service, according to The Hill newspaper.
