President Donald Trump on Thursday signed three bills into law, including the long-awaited 2025 rescission package, which includes canceling funding for public broadcasting and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Congress passed the rescissions package earlier this month, which cancels money that it previously appropriated in an effort to cement the Department of Government Efficiency's spending cuts.

The legislation largely cut funding for USAID but also included $1 billion for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which supports public radio and television stations, including NPR and PBS.
