Trump's police week dinner in the White House Rose Garden will feature law enforcement leaders

National organizations that are expected to be represented at the dinner include the National Association of Police Organizations, the National Sheriffs’ Association, the National Fraternal Order of Police and the National Border Patrol Council.

President Donald Trump will host a group of law enforcement leaders Monday for a special dinner in the rose garden of the White House to commemorate Police Week and honor fallen law enforcement officers. 

The event will feature high-profile guests and administration officials, including Vice President JD Vance, Border Czar Tom Homan, War Secretary Pete Hegseth, Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, FBI Director Kash Patel and Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, according to the Daily Caller.

National organizations that are expected to be represented at the dinner include the National Association of Police Organizations, the National Sheriffs’ Association, the National Fraternal Order of Police and the National Border Patrol Council.

“The men and women of law enforcement are American heroes who risk their own lives to keep our communities safe. They have never had a stronger champion than President Trump and his Administration,” White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told the outlet. “The White House is looking forward to honoring these heroes and celebrating all they do for our country as we kick off Police Week.”

The event signals the start of Police Week, which runs May 10-16, and law enforcement officers are also expected to attend a candlelight vigil on Wednesday. 

Secret Service Director Sean Curran, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administrator Terry Cole, Director of the U.S. Marshals Service Gady Serralta, D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro and Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms Rob Cekada are also expected to attend Monday night's dinner.
