White House condemns transgender activists showing off post-op bare chests at Pride event
"There’s some sad humor in the White House being more offended by topless trans activists than trans surgeries on minors," radio host Jason Rantz tweeted.
The White House on Tuesday condemned male and female transgender activists who took off their shirts and displayed their bare chests, which had been operated on to match the genders they identify with, while at a Pride Month event over the weekend.
Transgender activist and model Rose Montoya on Monday posted a video with clips from the White House Pride event over the weekend. Several seconds of the video featured Montoya, a biological male, posing with two transgender males, who were born female but had their breasts removed. Two of the activists, including Montoya, shook their chests while the other held a muscular pose.

A White House spokesperson on Tuesday said, "This behavior is inappropriate and disrespectful for any event at the White House. It is not reflective of the event we hosted to celebrate LGBTQI+ families or the other hundreds of guests who were in attendance. Individuals in the video will not be invited to future events," Fox News reported.
Montoya had defended the video late Monday evening.
"First of all, going topless in Washington D.C. is legal, and I fully support the movement of freeing the nipple because why is my chest now deemed inappropriate or illegal when I show it off, however before coming out as trans, it was not? All you're doing is affirming that I am a woman," Montoya said.
The video, which also featured Montoya meeting President Joe Biden, stirred controversy online.
"If you would like to stop people calling you a degenerate groomer, perhaps don’t act like one. We still can’t believe this actually happened. You are disgusting and a disgrace to us all," tweeted Gays Against Groomers, a nonprofit of gay people against pedophilia.
"There’s some sad humor in the White House being more offended by topless trans activists than trans surgeries on minors. But beggars can’t be choosers I guess — they’re obviously right to condemn," radio host Jason Rantz tweeted after the White House condemned the topless video.
