"The sanctity of the judicial system is at risk because of her actions," prosecutors stated.
The Clancy case has attracted national attention and the defendant has gained an online following of supporters. Clancy stands accused of murdering her three children. She admits to the killings but has argued that she suffered from severe mental illness and should not be held criminally responsible.
